In the surroundings of Prijedor, there are well-maintained cycling trails and routes that will provide you with an opportunity for active rest and enjoyment in a beautiful environment, preserved nature, and a tour of numerous monuments and natural attractions.

In the city of Prijedor, three cycling routes are marked: the "Wooden Churches" route, the "Old Mills" route, and the "Šurkovac – Dragotinjska Principality" route. These routes mostly follow less busy local roads and pass through beautiful landscapes, and the richness of cultural and historical heritage makes them unique. Every cycle tourist will find a route suited to their affinities and capabilities.

The "Wooden Churches" route is a circular recreational route about 90 km long, connecting rural areas and cultural-historical heritage into a single unit. The route passes through several village settlements and connects five wooden churches characteristic of the Potkozarje region.

The "Old Mills" route is a thematic tourist route about 70 km long and passes through an area where several old mills are located, representing an important segment of the local tradition and associated with various folk tales.

The "Šurkovac – Dragotinjska Principality" route, about 90 km long, connects Prijedor and several surrounding places. Along this route, there are objects of cultural-historical and architectural heritage, as well as religious buildings.

Due to the growing popularity of cycling, both recreational and competitive, MTB cycling trails have been arranged and marked in the "Kozara" National Park. For all lovers of excitement and adrenaline, riding mountain trails, clearings, and forest paths with descents and ascents, these trails will provide not only enjoyment in riding on two wheels but also enjoyment in the beauty of nature in the "Kozara" National Park.

Technically demanding trails, many ascents, and exceptional nature are suitable for both professionals and adrenaline addicts, as well as for recreational cyclists.
