UNA REGATTA: WILL YOU SAIL DOWN THE UNA RIVER THIS YEAR?

NOVI GRAD – Nature lovers, adventure seekers and river enthusiasts are invited to register for the traditional “Una Regatta – Down the Una by Boat 2026,” an annual event offering a full day of fun, recreation and unforgettable scenery along one of the most beautiful rivers in the region.

Organizers are encouraging participants to experience the crystal-clear emerald waters of the Una River while enjoying a well-organized and safe regatta accompanied by a diverse program of activities.

The participation fee is 25 BAM per person and covers part of the organizational costs, safety support provided by members of local fishing and kayaking associations, transportation and delivery of equipment, accreditation, first aid services, refreshments and lunch.

Those who do not own a boat can rent a fully equipped rafting raft for a crew of up to eight people at a price of 350 BAM.

Participants with their own rafting boats or traditional river boats are also welcome to join the event, provided they bring all the required safety equipment. In that case, only the participation fee is required.

Applications are open from July 3 to July 17, 2026, and can be submitted at the Tourist Organization of Novi Grad.

Held every year, the “Una Regatta – Down the Una by Boat” has become one of the signature summer events in Republika Srpska, attracting hundreds of visitors and promoting the breathtaking natural beauty of the Una River, as well as Novi Grad as one of the region’s leading destinations for outdoor recreation and river tourism.
