TRADITIONAL ASCENT AND DAYS OF MOUNTAINEERS OF THE REPUBLIC OF SRPSKA

The Mountaineering Association of the Republic of Srpska organized the Traditional Ascent to Maglić and the Days of Mountaineers of the Republic of Srpska from June 28th to 30th.

By hiking and climbing the highest peak, they promoted mountaineering and the natural beauty of the Republic of Srpska. 

The mountaineers gathered in Prijevor, where they held an "Astronomy Evening" and observed celestial bodies through telescopes. The next day, they climbed to the highest point in the country, Mount Maglić, via Lokva. On their return, they visited Trnovačko Lake, enjoying the stunning landscapes. 

This event highlighted the importance of mountaineering and preserving natural treasures. Participants expressed satisfaction with the organization and the beauty of nature. The Mountaineering Association announced the continuation of similar activities in the future to promote an active and healthy lifestyle.
