At Jezero Laminci, near Gradiška, the new fishing season has officially begun, bringing together ten teams and more than 20 anglers from across the region.
Participants included fishermen from Banovići, Banja Luka, Zrenjanin, as well as local anglers from Gradiška.
A PARADISE FOR REST AND RECREATION
Jezero Laminci, also known as “Majdan,” is located about ten kilometers from Gradiška, surrounded by oak and ash forests that create a peaceful natural setting. This location offers ideal conditions for relaxation, far from the noise of the city.
The complex includes a lake for swimming and sport fishing, a restaurant with accommodation, tennis courts, and a well-maintained path for walking and running around the lake.
RICH FISH STOCK ATTRACTS ANGLERS
The lake was formed more than three decades ago through gravel excavation and has since become one of the most attractive fishing destinations in the area.
Its waters are home to catfish, pike, carp, grass carp, Prussian carp, bream, as well as the dwarf American catfish, and even trophy-sized rudd.
Well-maintained fishing spots, easy access, and a large parking area make this lake increasingly popular among nature lovers and fishing enthusiasts.
The start of the season at Laminci has once again confirmed that this location remains a must-visit destination for anyone seeking a combination of sport, nature, and relaxation.
