RECORD-BREAKING SRBAC CYCLING TOUR: 450 PARTICIPANTS RIDE TO BARDAČA

More than 450 cyclists of all generations gathered today for the 12th Srbac Cycling Tour, setting a new attendance record for this increasingly popular recreational and tourism event.

The long column of participants set off from the center of Srbac towards Bardača, cycling a 25-kilometer route through scenic lowland landscapes and the natural beauty of the municipality.

Road Safety Education for the Youngest Participants

Before the start of the ride, a special program was organized for children in the town square. In cooperation with the Auto-Moto Association of Republika Srpska, a traffic safety course was set up where young participants learned the basics of safe behavior in traffic through games and educational activities.

Following the gathering and preparations, cyclists embarked on a three-hour ride to Bardača, one of the most renowned natural attractions in Republika Srpska.

Cycling, Friendship, and Promotion of Natural Beauty

Upon arriving in Bardača, participants were welcomed with a communal lunch, refreshments, and an entertainment program, while the return to Srbac was scheduled for the afternoon.

Srbac Mayor Mlađan Dragosavljević expressed his satisfaction with the record turnout of residents and visitors.

“The large number of cyclists confirms that the Srbac Cycling Tour has grown into a recognizable event that promotes a healthy lifestyle, socializing, and the natural beauty of our municipality. I would like to thank all participants, organizers, and partners who helped us once again send a positive image from Srbac,” Dragosavljević told Glas Srpske.

An Event Growing Year After Year

Over the years, the Srbac Cycling Tour has become one of the largest recreational events in this part of Republika Srpska, attracting an increasing number of cycling enthusiasts, nature lovers, and supporters of active tourism.

The traditional event was held under the general sponsorship of Kolektor CCL, with the support of the Municipality of Srbac and the Tourist Organization of the Municipality of Srbac.

This year's record attendance of 450 participants is the strongest confirmation that interest in such events continues to grow, while Srbac is increasingly positioning itself as a destination that successfully combines sports, recreation, and the promotion of its natural tourism potential.
