INVITATION TO ALL – THE MOUNTAIN CALLS, OZREN CONNECTS!

Nature lovers, hikers, marathon participants, cyclists, and outdoor enthusiasts from across the region will gather from June 5 to June 7 on Mount Ozren for the 20th Ozren Mountaineering Marathon 2026 and the Day of Mountaineers of Republika Srpska.

The jubilee event, organized by the Mountaineering Association of Republika Srpska, will bring together numerous hiking clubs and sports enthusiasts on one of the most beautiful mountains in Republika Srpska.

According to the organizers, participants can expect a rich program filled with hiking activities, outdoor recreation, social gatherings, and organized mountain tours. The central part of the program is scheduled for June 6 and 7, when visitors will have the opportunity to enjoy the natural beauty of Ozren and the hospitality of the hosts.

Accommodation and participant arrivals are planned in the area near the Ozren Monastery, where hiking groups and campers will be welcomed throughout the three-day event.

The organizers emphasize that the goal of the manifestation is to promote a healthy lifestyle, mountaineering, sports, and the natural beauty of Republika Srpska, while also strengthening friendship and cooperation among hiking associations from the region.

Applications for hiking groups are open until May 20, 2026.

This year’s slogan – “The mountain calls, Ozren connects!” – perfectly reflects the spirit of togetherness and love for nature that has made the Ozren Mountaineering Marathon one of the most recognizable outdoor events of its kind in Republika Srpska.
