FIRST RAFTING ADVENTURES OF THE YEAR BEGIN

The warm weekend drew people into nature. Adventurers took advantage of the lovely weather for rafting adventures down the Tara and Drina rivers.

- We had a fantastic time today with the first group of guests in unbelievable 25°C weather in March. Everything is set for the next weekend when we expect the first major gathering of guests at the camp, and we've scheduled the first big party, stated the Rafting Center Drina-Tara.

One of Foča's greatest tourist attractions is rafting, attracting adventurers from all over the world to Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The Tara River is one of the most beautiful rivers in Europe, with an 80 km long canyon. With a depth of 1300 meters, the canyon is the deepest in the Old Continent and the second deepest in the world after the Grand Canyon. The water is exceptionally clean, representing the largest European natural drinking water reserve, earning it the nickname "The Tear of Europe". The last 25 km of its course pass through the municipality of Foča.
