IN ANTICIPATION OF ADVENTURE: HAN PIJESAK HOSTS THE MOUNTAINEERING GATHERING 2024.

Mountaineers from the Mountaineering Association 'Korak' participated once again this year in the traditional Mountaineering Gathering, organized by mountaineers and nature enthusiasts from the Mountaineering Association 'Visočnik' in Han Pijesak.

This year, the Mountaineering Gathering took place on April 27th, in the area between the entities of Republika Srpska and the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, specifically in the territory of the village of Žeravice. 

The majority of the participants were introduced for the first time to the beautiful nature and history of this region.

In addition to the stunning landscapes, viewpoints, rivers such as Stupčanica and Varosnica, and several other smaller watercourses, the nature of this area is also characterized by the hidden and beautiful Skakavac waterfall.
