Society president Mihajlo Lazendić told Srna that the weather was ideal for hiking, and all participants had the opportunity to enjoy the beauty of Dimitor.

The starting point of the 16-kilometer-long trail was Zelenkovac near Mrkonjić Grad, with the ascent to the destination point taking seven hours. Lazendić added that halfway through the trail, tea was prepared for all the hikers, and upon returning, a lunch and drinks were organized for all participants in the church hall in the village of Graci near Mrkonjić Grad.

The society's secretary, Jelena Vučenović, said they were once again ready to welcome the traditional ascent of Dimitor. She mentioned that all participants who took the "Kozja Strana" route, also known as the ridge, had the chance to experience an unforgettable adventure due to the uniqueness of the trail, along with enjoying the breathtaking views of nature.

Hiker Stana Seka Laketa, who has been participating in hiking activities for 12 years, expressed her enthusiasm in responding to the invitation to take part in the Dimitor ascent once again this year. "I have participated in almost all the hiking and other events organized by this society, of which I am a long-time member. I love nature, fresh air, long walks, socializing, and new friendships – this is what hiking gives me," said Laketa.

Ten-year-old Kalina Jakovljević, who has been hiking for two years, shared that this was her second time participating in the ascent of Dimitor.

She emphasized that the view from the mountain is beautiful, and she learns a lot while gaining new friendships.

Another ten-year-old, Marija Popović, noted that this was her second time joining the Dimitor ascent, and her motivations for hiking include fresh air, nature, and socializing.

Dimitor Mountain is located in the southwestern part of the Republic of Srpska, around 14 kilometers from Mrkonjić Grad. It is positioned between the upper flow of the Sana River to the west and Podrško Field to the east.
