JEZERO TO HOST "SAČIJADA" COOKING COMPETITION ON JULY 27

Jezero will come alive with the aroma of traditional cuisine on July 27 as the town hosts the popular "Sačijada"—a culinary competition dedicated to dishes prepared under the sač, a traditional bell-shaped lid used for slow cooking.

The event will take place at Jezero Park starting at 3:00 PM, inviting families and groups of friends to enjoy a relaxed Sunday afternoon filled with food, fun, and community spirit.

"Let’s spend this Sunday afternoon together with our families and friends, enjoying good company and traditional food. I warmly invite everyone to join us for Sačijada," said Jezero Mayor Snežana Ružičić.

Each team can participate for a registration fee of 20 KM. Firewood and designated cooking spaces will be provided, and a surprise prize awaits the best chefs.

Teams are required to bring their own sač, ingredients, chairs, and table for food preparation and serving. Team registrations are open until July 26 at 12:00 PM.
