PRIJEDOR – The sixth edition of Jelen Garden Fest came to a spectacular close, once again confirming its status as one of the region's premier music festivals. Over two unforgettable evenings in Prijedor's Summer Garden, thousands of music lovers joined performers in creating an atmosphere filled with energy, emotion, and memorable live performances.
The second festival night featured
performances by Peki, Brkovi, Bombaj Štampa, and Mile Kekin & Band,
delivering a setlist packed with fan favorites and electrifying stage energy.
Even a brief 10-minute summer downpour failed to dampen the mood, as
festivalgoers stayed with their favorite artists and resumed singing with even
greater enthusiasm once the rain stopped.
The opening night was equally impressive,
bringing together acclaimed regional acts Vojko V, Edo Maajka, Rundek &
Ekipa, and Zoster, setting the tone for another successful edition of the
festival.
Festival organizers expressed great satisfaction with this year's event, thanking visitors, performers, sponsors, and everyone involved in making the festival a success.
"Thank you to everyone who joined us at
this year's Jelen Garden Fest and once again proved that we have the best
audience. We are grateful to all the artists who made this edition so special,
as well as everyone who supported the organization of the festival. We look
forward to seeing you again next year," the organizers said.
One of the most sought-after names of the new
trap generation, young rapper and producer Peki, opened the second festival
night and praised the energy of the Prijedor audience, saying that this kind of
atmosphere is exactly why artists enjoy returning to festivals like Garden
Fest.
Branko Đurić Đuro, frontman of Bombaj Štampa,
said the audience sang along from the first note to the last, emphasizing that
performing in front of a crowd that genuinely lives and breathes music is
always a special experience.
"It was fantastic. The people were
wonderful. I fell in love with this audience. We haven't had a crowd like this
in a long time. We truly enjoyed ourselves, and we definitely have to do this
again," Đuro said.
Mile Kekin, a familiar face at Garden Fest, noted that he always enjoys returning to Prijedor because of its outstanding audience.
"This year was even better and more
challenging. It rained a little at the beginning, and when that happens, you
have an even bigger task—to lift the spirits of a soaked audience. But it's
incredibly rewarding when you succeed and everyone experiences that collective
catharsis together," Kekin said.
Šemso 69, frontman of Brkovi, also praised the
festival crowd, describing it as loud, passionate, and full of energy
throughout the entire concert, adding that the band always looks forward to
performing for audiences like the one in Prijedor.
The sixth edition of Jelen Garden Fest ended
with unforgettable performances, emotional moments, and a promise that the
festival's successful story will continue next year, bringing even more
outstanding music and memorable experiences to Prijedor.
