With performances by Rambo Amadeus, “Plavi Orkestar,” “Brkovi,” and “Elemental,” the 11th edition of Jelen OK Fest officially kicked off at Tjentište near Foča, drawing thousands of young people from across the region and numerous European countries.
Ahead
of the festival’s opening, Jelen OK Fest director Dubravko Suvara expressed his
gratitude to the audience, sponsors, friends of the festival, and performers,
many of whom return to Tjentište year after year.
"With
our collective energy, we have created a truly regional event that is now
widely recognized. What’s already clear on this first day of the festival is
that we have a duty to make next year’s edition even more successful, bigger,
and of even higher quality," said Suvara.
The Mayor of Foča, Milan Vukadinović, welcomed all attendees on behalf of himself and the people of his municipality.
"I’m
pleased to see that the conditions and the atmosphere here improve each year. I
hope the festival runs smoothly once again and wish all the young people a
joyful experience, enjoying the perfect blend of entertainment and
nature," he said.
Zoran
Čančar, Acting Director of the Sutjeska National Park, described the magical
atmosphere of Tjentište as otherworldly.
"The
beauty and scenery you can witness and feel here are out of this world. This is
something beyond Earth's orbit," Čančar added.
Organizers
promise that Jelen OK Fest will once again transform Sutjeska National Park
into the epicenter of fun in the region. Over three festival days, top names
from the regional and global music scenes will take the stage, offering a
packed program filled with energy and unforgettable moments.
As in
previous years, the atmosphere at Tjentište is filled with dancing, smiles, and
irresistible rhythms, reaffirming the festival’s reputation as one of the
region’s most beloved music gatherings.
