Motocross and extreme sports fans once again had the opportunity to enjoy an adrenaline-filled spectacle during the "Transfiguration Days 2025" in Rogatica, as the famous motocross race took place on the “Ptičijak” track, attracting a large number of motorsport enthusiasts.
Rogatica once again welcomed motocross riders from nearly every country in the region — and from across Europe — turning the small town into a hotspot of roaring engines and thrilling performances.
The first official street circuit motorcycle race in Rogatica was held back in 1959. During the 1960s and 70s, across the former Yugoslavia, major holidays and local festivities were often celebrated with motorcycle races.
Back then, crowds poured into small towns to watch the most famous riders from Slovenia, Serbia, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and beyond.
One of the most iconic motorcycle gatherings in Bosnia and Herzegovina used to be right here in Rogatica, where decades ago, tens of thousands of motorcycle lovers would gather — and this tradition still lives on today.
