This past weekend, the renowned motocross race "ROGATICA 2024" was held on the "Ptičijak" track in Rogatica, drawing a large crowd of motocross enthusiasts.

After a brief hiatus, motocross riders from almost every country in the region returned to Rogatica, with AMD "Rogatica" hosting the event. The first official high-speed circuit motorcycle race in Rogatica was organized back in 1959.

During the 1960s and 1970s, throughout the former Yugoslavia, significant dates were often marked by motorcycle races. Crowds would gather in small spaces to watch the most famous motorcyclists from Slovenia, Serbia, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and beyond.

Rogatica was one of the most exciting motorcycle gatherings in Bosnia and Herzegovina, attracting tens of thousands of motorcycle lovers and fans several decades ago.
