This summer, Foča once again confirmed its reputation as a European hub of adrenaline and natural beauty, thanks to numerous rafting camps located along the Drina and Tara rivers.
According to data from the Foča Tourist Organization, just ten years ago there were 14 rafting camps operating on these rivers. Today, that number has more than doubled to 32 active camps, with 5 more currently under construction.
This rapid growth clearly signals the expansion of rafting tourism in the region.
“More and more local and international tourists are visiting Foča for unforgettable adventures on the Tara and Drina,” the Tourist Organization of Foča reported.
In addition to rafting, visitors are increasingly discovering other outdoor experiences, such as hiking, cycling, tours through the Perućica rainforest, exploring Zelengora's lakes, horseback riding, visiting the unique Sand Pyramids, and enjoying Foča's rich tradition and renowned hospitality.
