Competitors had the challenge of running from the Arslanagić Bridge on the Trebišnjica River to the peak of Mount Leotar.

Luka Rajčević reached the top of Leotar in 53 minutes and 47 seconds, marking his third participation in this race.

"This year, I am in slightly better shape, which helped me achieve this success. I like this track because I enjoy climbing. My advice to others is to conserve energy, walk more, and run less on the steep sections," said Rajčević.

Lana Gavrilović, a Serbian triathlon champion at 21 years old, participated in the race for the first time.

"We came to Trebinje for this race but also for training. This was my first time running on stone, and I reached the top of Leotar in one hour and four minutes. It seems that we from Srem aren't so bad at climbing either! I really enjoyed the race, and the organization was excellent," said Gavrilović.

The president of the "Vučji Zub" Mountaineering Society, Igor Škero, expressed satisfaction with the event, stating that around 250 competitors from the region participated.

"What matters most to us is that everyone safely descended from Leotar and that everything went smoothly. Ten years of 'Trebinje Vertical' is no small milestone. We have the support of the city and sponsors, and we will continue organizing this race as well as our other events," Škero said.

In the men's category, Ivan Vujović from Bileća took second place, while Dragan Ilić from Nevesinje came in third.

In the women's category, Miluša Bošković from Kotor finished second, and Maja Nožica from Trebinje took third place.

The oldest competitor was 70-year-old Ljubomir Todović from Foča.

"We bring strength and energy to the younger generation, and I am happy that they accept me. It is a great gift from God that I can still compete and run to the top of Leotar at my age. The most difficult part of the race is the final stretch because fatigue sets in, but love and willpower overcome all obstacles," said Todović.

The race was organized by the "Vučji Zub" Mountaineering Society.
