This marks the seventh consecutive year that motocross competitions have been organized in Derventa, and once again, the event drew in a strong crowd and competitive lineup.

Around 40 riders from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, and Croatia competed in various categories, including MX65, MX85, MXA, MXV, MX1, and MX Open.

Miroslav Milojević Miron, president of the local Moto Club “Miron,” which organized the event, expressed satisfaction with the successful execution of the race.

“The preparations went smoothly. We worked hard to provide the best possible conditions for the riders, and they were very pleased. The track is more demanding than most due to its terrain and inclines. Many of the riders have competed here before and knew what to expect. While the number of participants at the start was smaller, we quickly reached nearly 40 riders,” Milojević told Derventa Cafe.

The thrilling competition brought together riders from different parts of Bosnia and Herzegovina and neighboring countries, with spectators enjoying fast-paced action and intense duels.

Top performers were rewarded in each category. In the elite MX1 class, Viktor Lang from Novi Sad claimed first place. Banja Luka riders Miloš Milaković and Momčilo Malešević secured second and third.

In MX2, rising star Vuk Ćajić from Rogatica won the top spot. Damir Hajdarević from Bugojno took second place, while Miloš Makivić from host city Derventa came in third.

Veteran riders also had their moment to shine. Stevo Babić from Prijedor won the Veteran class, followed by local competitors Siniša Pazurević and Darko Todorić from Derventa.

The popular Enduro category saw Mitar Dzigerević from Teslić finish first. Andrej Stjepanović from Srbac and Ivan Vranešević, also from Teslić, completed the podium.

The Amateur class brought plenty of excitement, with Milan Knežević from Prnjavor taking the win. Pavle Milojević and Nedeljko Tadić, both from Derventa, finished second and third.

In the MX85 class, reserved for the youngest riders, Damir Hajdarević from Bugojno took another victory.

The always-exciting Quad class was dominated by Dinko Kovačević from Prnjavor. Danijel Djuraš and Damir Jerinić, both from Derventa, finished in second and third place respectively.

With its continued success and growing popularity, “Derventa Motocross” is firmly establishing itself as a key event on the regional motocross calendar.
