TROPHY CATCH FROM BILEĆKO LAKE: MAČKIĆ'S RECORD-BREAKING FISH

A member of the "Trebišnjica" Fishing Club from Trebinje, Marko Mačkić, caught a trophy-sized zander today at Bilećko Lake.

Mačkić told Srna that this is one of the largest specimens ever caught with a fishing rod in local waters.

"This is my personal record. The fish is 90 centimeters long, and after the catch, it was returned to the water," Mačkić stated.

He added that such specimens highlight the potential of Bilećko Lake and the Trebišnjica River as prime fishing destinations.
