FREE SUNDAY TRANSPORT TO TVRDIMIĆI EXCURSION SITE STARTS JULY 5

Residents will be able to enjoy free transportation to the picturesque Tvrdimići excursion site on the slopes of Mount Trebević every Sunday throughout the summer, beginning on July 5, the Municipality of East Novo Sarajevo announced.

The complimentary bus service will depart at 9:00 a.m. from the parking area at Republic of Serbia Square, while the return trip is scheduled for 12:30 p.m.

Nestled in a peaceful natural setting, Tvrdimići offers visitors fresh mountain air and an ideal environment for walking, relaxation, outdoor recreation, and spending quality time in nature. The destination has become increasingly popular among locals and tourists seeking an escape from the city during the summer months

The sports and recreation center, located within the Municipality of East Novo Sarajevo, is steadily emerging as one of the area's most attractive tourist destinations.

Covering nearly 25 hectares, the complex features hospitality facilities, fitness trails, a zip line, and a renovated hiking trail that enhances its appeal for outdoor enthusiasts.

Tvrdimići's growing popularity is the result of continuous investments by the Municipality of East Novo Sarajevo and the "Trebević" Mountaineering and Sports Society. A 10-kilometer hiking trail has been fully restored and classified according to the standards of the Mountaineering Association of Republika Srpska, further strengthening the site's reputation as a premier destination for recreation and nature tourism.
