GET YOUR BEAN GAME ON AND FORM YOUR TEAM – GASTRO DAY COMING TO KOZARSKA DUBICA CITY BEACH

Bean lovers, food enthusiasts and fans of good entertainment will have the chance to showcase their culinary skills at the 14th edition of “Gastro Day”, taking place on Saturday, September 5, 2026, at Blato City Beach in Kozarska Dubica.

The event will begin at 11:00 a.m. at the “River Beach Bar”, with the main attraction being a gastronomic competition dedicated to preparing the best traditional bean stew.

A three-member expert jury will select the best dishes, while the top-performing teams will compete for valuable cash prizes.

The winning team will receive 5,000 KM, second place is worth 3,000 KM, while the third-place team will take home 1,000 KM.

All participating teams will also receive 100 KM upon registration to help cover the cost of ingredients needed for the competition.

Registration is open until September 3, 2026, and interested participants can register at the organizers’ offices or by calling 052/417-356 or 066/296-962.

Organizers are inviting everyone interested in culinary competition to put together a team, roll up their sleeves and prove who makes the best bean stew. Residents and visitors are also invited to join the event and enjoy a day filled with socializing, music, entertainment and traditional local flavours.
