The 25th anniversary edition of Drvar Cornelian Cherry Day celebrated local flavors, tradition, music and the people who have kept this unique story alive.

A SYMBOL OF DRVAR

Over the years, the event has grown into an important part of Drvar’s tourism identity, promoting homemade Cornelian cherry products and preserving traditional recipes and skills passed down through generations.

To mark the anniversary, awards were presented to individuals, institutions and producers who have contributed to the development of the event. Special recognition was given to Vlatko Zrilić, who organized the first Drvar Cornelian Cherry Day in 2001.

TRADITION, MUSIC AND LOCAL SPIRIT

The anniversary celebration also featured the traditional Cornelian cherry competition and a rich cultural and entertainment program, with performances by children, folklore ensembles and choirs from Drvar, Banjaluka and Bosansko Grahovo.

After 25 years, Drvar Cornelian Cherry Day is much more than a local event – it is a story about Drvar, its people, authentic flavors and a tradition proudly passed from one generation to the next.
