TREBINJE TO GET A NEW CONGRESS CENTER WORTH MORE THAN BAM 300 MILLION

Elektroprivreda Republike Srpske (ERS) has launched an international tender for the construction of a new Congress Center in Trebinje, with an estimated value of BAM 264 million excluding VAT, or approximately BAM 309 million including VAT.

The project includes the design, construction and complete furnishing of the complex, including installations, furniture and audiovisual equipment.

A NEW LANDMARK FOR TREBINJE

The Congress Center is planned in the Novi Trebinje area, south of the Grad Sunca complex. According to project documentation, the facility could cover more than 37,000 square meters.

The complex is envisioned as a modern multifunctional venue for congresses, business and educational events, concerts, exhibitions and other cultural programs.

The project has been in preparation since 2023, when an international architectural competition attracted 39 entries from around the world.

With the tender now launched, the ambitious project has taken another major step toward construction and could further strengthen Trebinje’s position as one of Herzegovina’s leading tourism, business and event destinations.
