FROM LOCAL PRODUCTS TO RURAL FARMSTEADS: GRADIŠKA WELCOMES BEEKEEPERS FROM NORTH MACEDONIA

Gradiška welcomed a group of tourists from North Macedonia, brought together by their shared passion for beekeeping, to a region known for its warm hospitality, local products, and rich agricultural traditions.

In cooperation with Professor Goran Mirjanić, the Gradiška Tourist Organization and the “House of Lijevče and Potkozarje” organized a special program, giving visitors the opportunity to discover local products and explore the city's tourist attractions.

LOCAL PRODUCT TASTING AND CITY TOUR

The visit began with a tour of a souvenir shop and a tasting of the latest local products, followed by a sightseeing tour of Gradiška and its landmarks.

The experience continued with visits to three family farms in the Gradiška area, where guests had the opportunity to learn more about local agricultural production and traditional rural life.

This visit once again demonstrated how shared interests, such as beekeeping, can inspire travel, encourage the exchange of experiences, and promote the authentic tourism offerings of the Lijevče and Potkozarje regions.
