ZELENKOVAC GETS A NEW CORNER FOR BOOK LOVERS

A small library has been opened at the Ecological-Tourism Center Zelenkovac near Mrkonjić Grad, offering visitors a unique space filled with old books, school literature, comic books, catalogs, and magazines.

According to Borislav Janković, the library collection consists mainly of books and publications donated over the years.

“In addition to literary classics, the library also includes works by young authors as well as local writers and creators,” Janković said.

He also announced that the 17th International “Go” Tournament will take place at Zelenkovac from June 5 to 8, gathering around 30 players from different countries.

Preparations are also underway for the 26th International Jazz Festival, scheduled to be held from August 5 to 9 at Zelenkovac. Janković noted that interest in the festival is steadily growing, with accommodation capacities already beginning to fill up due to increased reservations.
