ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION IN FOCUS IN EAST ILIDŽA

East Ilidža celebrated World Environment Day with a focus on educating the youth.

The Tourist Information Center, supported by the Municipality and JKP "Komil," organized a series of activities.

High school students wrote literary works, while elementary school students created artwork on environmental protection themes. The best pieces were symbolically rewarded.

Additionally, students, alongside their teachers, planted saplings in schoolyards, symbolically contributing to environmental preservation.

East Ilidža Municipality also highlighted the importance of active participation in environmental protection, emphasizing that World Environment Day is an opportunity to raise awareness for the preservation of nature for future generations.
