DERVENTA IN THE RHYTHM OF TRADITIONAL BEATS AND ETHNO-SONGS

Intertwined traditional rhythms and verses of ethno-songs will adorn Derventa next weekend, September 13 and 14, as part of the "Derventa Ethno-Song Festival 2025."

This two-day event, organized for the ninth time by the Serbian Cultural and Artistic Society "Derventa," will bring together seven singing groups from Republika Srpska, Serbia, and Croatia.

– In our city, we will celebrate the Day of Serbian Unity, Freedom, and the National Flag in the most beautiful way – with music. The singing groups will perform on the first day of the festival, Saturday, with a concert at the Orthodox Square, while on the following day, ethnomusicologist Bojana Nikolić Petričković will hold a traditional singing workshop – the SKUD "Derventa" representatives announced.

The festival is held with the support of the City of Derventa, the President of Republika Srpska, and the Government of Republika Srpska.
