OVER 500 PARTICIPANTS JOIN CYCLING EVENT IN GRADIŠKA

The fourth annual cycling event “Dr. Borislav Šokčević” in Gradiška gathered more than 500 participants, who were undeterred by the tropical heat as they rode the 13-kilometer route from the city center on the Sava River to the lake in Laminci.

For about 70 of the youngest cyclists, a special biking course was organized on the plateau of the Gradiška Cultural Center. All young participants also took part in a prize draw, where the main reward was a children’s bicycle.

A bicycle was also the top prize for the luckiest rider who crossed the finish line at the lake in Laminci.

The event was organized by the Gradiška Tourist Organization and the “Challenge” Cycling Club, with support from the city administration.
