CONCERT OF LOVE AND FRIENDSHIP SCHEDULED IN BANJA LUKA

An evening of vocal music titled “CONCERT OF LOVE AND FRIENDSHIP” will take place at the Banski Dvor Concert Hall in Banja Luka on November 10, 2025, with the goal of raising funds for the continued medical treatment of opera singer Albina Smajlović Tomić, who is battling multiple sclerosis and trigeminal neuralgia.

CONCERT OF LOVE AND FRIENDSHIP SCHEDULED IN BANJA LUKA

The initiative came from a group of artists who decided to donate their performance fees to Albina’s treatment fund, in order to support this exceptional artist whose powerful voice and talent have captivated audiences on the very stage of Banski Dvor many times before.

Invitations for the concert can be collected at the Banski Dvor box office on working days (excluding weekends) between 12:00 PM and 6:00 PM, while the concert will begin at 8:00 PM.

Banski Dvor responded to the noble initiative of several prominent solo singers from the Republic of Srpska and Serbia by dedicating this year’s traditional concert celebrating the Day of Banski Dvor to supporting Albina Smajlović Tomić.

A key step in Albina’s treatment—a ZAP-X procedure in Munich—has already been successfully performed. However, as this is only part of the long healing process, she continues to need assistance for ongoing therapy and rehabilitation.

The concert will feature Albina’s colleagues and friends—vocal soloists and musicians who have shared the stage and numerous projects with her over the years. The evening’s repertoire, including Russian, French, Italian, and local works, will be performed by sopranos DUNJA SIMIĆ and IVANA MILINČIĆ, mezzo-soprano ANA PETROVIĆ, baritone ALEKSANDAR DRAGOJEVIĆ, and pianists LENA LUKIĆ and DUNJA JANKOVIĆ.

Special guest pianist ARSEN ČARKIĆ will perform Franz Liszt’s “Serenade” and “Petrarch’s Sonnet 104”, both inspired by vocal artistry and poetry.

The carefully curated program will include opera arias by Puccini, Tchaikovsky, Bizet, and Offenbach, along with duets and solo songs by local and international composers. The artists designed the program to showcase the richness of the human voice and emotional depth through some of the most beloved pieces of the 19th and 20th centuries.

During the concert, a special donation box will be available for contributions, and those who wish to support Albina Smajlović Tomić can also make donations to the following account:
