"A GREAT BEGINNING" BRINGS A VARIETY OF SCHOOL ACTIVITIES

This year’s edition of the “A Great Beginning” event will once again bring an exciting three-day program to the largest city in Republika Srpska, featuring a variety of educational, sports, and entertainment activities — along with more than 500 gifts for local students.

City project manager Milada Šukalo announced the program, revealing that the central event of this year’s manifestation will be held on August 31 at the plaza in front of the sports complex in Mladen Stojanović Park, starting at 6 PM.

“During the last three days of August, our schoolchildren can look forward to a truly engaging schedule. The highlight will be on Sunday, August 31, marked by the traditional balloon release and a special appearance by YouTuber Braco Gajić, who is preparing educational quizzes for the students,” Šukalo emphasized.

She also noted that the program will include free children's theatre performances, a student football tournament, road safety workshops, and much more.

“This year, we are also joined by the citizens’ association ‘Sabranje’, whose teachers and educators are preparing a series of educational workshops for children,” Šukalo added.

She reminded the public that the delivery of free textbooks to elementary schools in Banja Luka is currently underway, and that the distribution of preserved textbooks to other municipalities and cities across the country has been successfully completed.
