The Kastel Rock Fest is returning to Banja Luka’s historic Kastel Fortress with three spectacular nights of live music, bringing together major domestic, regional, European and international artists, a high artistic standard and top-level production.
This
year’s edition of the festival will take place from September 17 to 19, once
again transforming the historic fortress into an open-air stage for some of the
biggest names in rock and alternative music.
The festival
will offer an impressive three-day programme combining international stars with
acclaimed regional performers. The gates will open at 6 p.m. each evening,
while the programme begins at 7 p.m.
THREE
NIGHTS, THREE DIFFERENT MUSICAL EXPERIENCES
The
opening night, Thursday, September 17, will feature domestic and regional
Eurovision representatives known for their distinctive rock energy. The line-up
includes Lavina from Serbia, Alexandra Căpitănescu from Romania and Baby
Lasagna from Croatia.
The
second night, Friday, September 18, will be dedicated to alternative sounds and
cult acts. The audience will be able to see Sopot, The Amy Winehouse Band and
legendary Slovenian industrial and alternative group Laibach.
The
festival will conclude in spectacular fashion on Saturday, September 19, with
progressive rock legends Jethro Tull headlining the closing night. They will be
joined by the domestic acts Rock Simfonija and Flutete.

tradition of bringing a major rock spectacle to the city and creating a unique
atmosphere at one of its most recognisable landmarks.

open-air festival experience.

Banja Luka’s cultural and music scene, bringing numerous major international
and regional names to the city.

Gogh, Vlatko Stefanovski Trio, Parni Valjak, Disciplina Kičme, Laibach, Vatra,
Kiki & Piloti, Josipa Lisac, Neverne Bebe, Psihomodo Pop, Leb i Sol,
Partibrejkers, Rambo Amadeus, Tito & Tarantula, Električni Orgazam, Vlada
Divljan & Idoli, Jinx, Majke, Letu Štuke, King George, Kerber, Massimo,
Cubismo and Hladno Pivo, among many others.
With
this year’s programme once again combining internationally recognised acts,
regional stars and local performers, Kastel Rock Fest 2026 promises three
nights of music beneath the open sky at one of Banja Luka’s most atmospheric
historic venues.
