One of the most recognizable summer events in East Sarajevo, the Beerka Festival, is returning for its fourth edition, bringing together top-quality music, premium and craft beer, and a unique festival atmosphere from June 12 to 14 under the slogan “Beerka strikes again.”
Over
the course of three days, visitors will enjoy performances from eight bands and
a DJ program, featuring well-known regional acts such as Velahavle, Skroz,
Bombaj Štampa, Zoster, Top 011, Bad Copy, Garavi Sokak, and a tribute band
dedicated to Zdravko Čolić, promising the high energy and vibrant atmosphere
Beerka has become known for.
The
Beerka Festival has established itself as the largest naturally beer-focused
festival in Bosnia and Herzegovina, gathering beer and music enthusiasts in a
distinctive setting.
“Visitors
will have the opportunity to enjoy more than 40 premium and craft beer labels,
as well as a diverse gastronomic offering, which includes an educational
segment for young chefs. In addition to the music and food program, the
festival maintains a strong focus on social responsibility and ESG values through
various activities promoting community, sustainability, and environmental
awareness,” the organizers stated.
A special highlight of this year’s festival is the Family Day, scheduled for the third day, with free admission for all visitors.
The youngest attendees can
look forward to children’s shows, animators, and educational workshops, while
families will be able to enjoy a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere.
The
previous edition of the festival attracted more than 16,000 visitors, with
growing interest despite challenging weather conditions, confirming Beerka’s
position as an essential part of the regional festival scene
The
festival will take place at the Čiča Sports and Recreation Center, on the
auxiliary pitch of FK Slavija in East Sarajevo. Tickets are already available
via the Ulaznice.org platform, as well as at “Majstor za pivo.” One-day tickets
(Friday and Saturday) are priced at 20 KM, while entry to Family Day is free. A
three-day festival pass is available for 30 KM.
