SAINT NICHOLAS DAY CELEBRATIONS BEGIN IN ISTOČNA ILIDŽA

The traditional event "Saint Nicholas Day Celebrations," organized by the Center for Culture and Information and the Municipality of Istočna Ilidža, has officially begun in this local community.

On the first day of the celebration, a literary evening featuring Archpriest Stavrophor Momir Vasiljević will be held at the "Žarko Vidović" Gallery in Istočna Ilidža.

The literary evening will start at 7:00 PM, during which Archpriest Stavrophor Vasiljević will present his literary works.

This year, the Municipality of Istočna Ilidža has provided 800 gift packages for children in preschools in the area, as well as for children up to six years old who do not attend preschool.

On the second day of the event, actor Saša Terzić, dressed as Saint Nicholas, will visit children in the preschools "Igra mi je hrana," "Mašin svijet," "Kockalone," and "Nova radost" to distribute the gift packages.

The celebration continues at 6:00 PM in the sports hall in Kasindol, where children who do not attend the mentioned preschools but reside in the Municipality of Istočna Ilidža can collect their gift packages.
