At the foot of Mount Cincar, not far from Livno, for decades, around 500 wild horses have been galloping, descendants of wild animals from the Livno plateau. Roaming the area between Livno and Kupres, this herd withstands harsh winters, rain, wind, poachers, and predators.
Some of these beauties have been captured by Enhad Goralija and the footage shared on the Instagram profile @goropro.
Originally not wild horses, but descendants of domestic ones that owners were forced to release into nature due to various circumstances.
The Mountaineering and Ecological Society "Borova Glava" from Livno took over the care of these animals in 2010, and since then their number has been constantly increasing.
The horses are an attraction for tourists, nature lovers, and numerous photographers from the region who capture fantastic shots of these animals in the wild.
