SARAJEVO: CHRISTMAS CONCERT AT THE NATIONAL THEATRE

At the National Theatre in Sarajevo, the 14th Christmas concert was held, organized by the Serbian Educational and Cultural Society "Prosvjeta", featuring performances of spiritual and traditional Christmas songs.

In the welcoming speech, the president of SPKD "Prosvjeta," Nedeljko Masleša, emphasized that the concert enhances the festive atmosphere in Sarajevo at the beginning of the year.

Masleša expressed his belief that the music and performance program awakens a sense of joy ahead of the holiday season.

- We want tonight's cultural event to be a contribution to preserving and nurturing tradition, mutual understanding, respect, and appreciation, added Masleša.

The concert was opened by members of the Cultural and Artistic Society "Lola" from Sarajevo with spiritual compositions and folk dances. Guests of this year's "Christmas concert," members of the Serbian Singing Society "Jedinstvo" from Kotor, performed spiritual and traditional Christmas songs.
