Congratulating the employees and all the producers exhibiting their products at the Herzegovinian House, Veselin Dutina, the director, stated that the results have been exceptional throughout the existence of the Herzegovinian House.
- Each year is better than the last. For this year, if we were to make a summary at the beginning of July, revenues are about 20% higher than last year. Our facilities in Banja Luka, Sarajevo, and Belgrade are also recording significant results. What I want to emphasize is that new producers are coming forward every day here in Trebinje, probably because they have gained confidence that they have secure cooperation, purchase, and payment with us, says Dutina, adding that there were around 20 cooperants at the beginning, and now there are over 140, which speaks to the quality of this house's work.
Obrenija Drapić from the Drapić Agricultural Estate says that bees are their primary activity.
- We have been cooperants of the Agrarian Fund since day one, and we have our products in all Herzegovinian House facilities: honey, propolis, pollen... Additionally, we also make liqueurs and syrups. We are satisfied; they are completely regular, added Drapić.
Željka Malovrh has been making homemade honey cakes since she lost her job.
- Now I have too much work with honey cakes. They sell very well, I literally make all the pictures that someone imagines. For the Herzegovinian House, I mainly make traditional costumes, the figure of Jovan Dučić, and similar things that tourists take as souvenirs,"says Malovrh.
