Recently, there has been visible preparation of a construction site in East Sarajevo, specifically near the entrance to Dobrinja. This concerns a plot of land opposite the Tom shopping center. The structures that were previously located here have been removed, and the terrain has been cleared.
For some time now, there has been speculation among the
residents of East Sarajevo, as well as on internet forums, that the German company
Lidl will be building its facility here. The location is excellent as it will
practically be within reach of residents from all over Lukavica and Dobrinja.
Construction work on the facility has not yet begun, nor has
a signboard been erected. So far, the company has built one facility in
Bijeljina and is currently constructing a large distribution center in
Lepenica.
Lidl BH recently shared photos of its first store in Bosnia and Herzegovina, which has been completely built.
"The first one is the beginning of a great story. We
built our first store in Bijeljina according to high Lidl standards. We are
very pleased with it, but what do you think?" wrote Lidl BH alongside the
photo they shared on a social network.
Lidl is in the process of entering the market in Bosnia and
Herzegovina, as well as the markets of Montenegro, North Macedonia, and Serbia.
