German retailer "Lidl," after initially purchasing parcels in Sarajevo, Mostar, and Gračanica, has now acquired land in Vogošća, Zvornik, and Gradiška. This multi-million investment aims to establish three new stores.
As announced, construction work on Lidl’s retail outlets in
Vogošća, Zvornik, and Gradiška is expected to commence in September.
In Bosnia and Herzegovina, Lidl is investing in a logistics
center in Lepenica. This facility spans approximately 60,000 square meters and
will be equipped with specialized machinery, automation systems, and logistics
equipment, with a focus on optimizing operations
The new center will also serve as a model for sustainable
and eco-friendly business practices, relying on renewable energy sources and
photovoltaic elements that generate approximately 1 MW of electricity.
"This confirms our commitment to sustainability and
energy efficiency as a pledge for a better future for all," stated Lidl
representatives.
