The city of Banja Luka and animal protection organizations organized the "Great Dog Walk" for all the dogs from the shelter on Manjača, attracting enormous interest from numerous animal lovers.
As stated earlier by the WagWag Association, the organizers of this event, the goal was for visitors to walk all 100 dogs from the city shelter, filling their day with play, attention, and love.
- This is a perfect opportunity to spend time with wonderful dogs and enjoy their company. We also want to encourage other organizations and volunteers to organize similar events because together, we can make a big difference, said the WagWag Association.
In addition to being a fun day, this is also an ideal opportunity to adopt one of the dogs from the shelter and provide them with a permanent home.
If you are considering adoption, we would like to emphasize that the process is very simple, and the staff at the shelter on Manjača are always ready to assist with any questions or concerns.
We remind all our fellow citizens that anyone looking for a pet can easily become a proud owner of one of the shelter dogs.
It's also important to note that adopting a dog from the shelter is free and simple, and it’s worth mentioning that the dogs are fully prepared for adoption, having undergone veterinary examinations, sterilization, treatment for external and internal parasites, and even character testing.
Lastly, we remind you that the Manjača dog shelter is open to visitors, volunteers, and those looking to adopt, on weekdays from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, and on weekends from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
