Mountaineers, members of the Trebinje Mountaineering Society "Vučji zub," Kristina Jašić, Mirko Lučić, and Danko Karić, successfully reached the summit of Mount Etna in Sicily.
Etna is the highest active volcano in Europe, standing at over 3,350 meters, with continuous activity that has lasted for more than 500,000 years.
The ascent was particularly thrilling due to the current Strombolian activity of the Voragine crater. The trail, with a total length of 19 km and an elevation gain of 1,400 meters, was demanding but spectacularly beautiful.
