HIKERS FROM THE MOUNTAINEERING AND ECOLOGICAL SOCIETY ANNOUNCE TRADITIONAL ACTION AT TAVNA

Hikers from the Mountaineering and Ecological Society "Majevica" invite all nature lovers and hiking enthusiasts to the traditional event which will be held at Tavna on June 15, 2024.

This annual gathering is an opportunity for all enthusiasts to enjoy the natural beauty of Majevica and socialize with like-minded individuals.

The program begins on Saturday, June 15, with guest arrivals scheduled from 07:00 to 09:00. The official opening ceremony will take place at 09:00, after which hikers can choose between two trails: the long trail starting at 10:00 and the short trail starting at 10:30.

Hikers are expected to return from the trails between 14:30 and 15:00, followed by lunch provided by the organizer. The ceremony for awarding diplomas and acknowledgments will be held at 16:00, and from 16:30 until late at night, participants will enjoy traditional tug-of-war and live music.

The organizers note that the trails are 16 km and 7 km long, and the weather is expected to be favorable, promising a pleasant and safe hiking experience. This event is not only an opportunity for physical activity but also for strengthening the community among hikers and nature lovers.
